There's a lot to see in Glasgow! To start off any trip one should head to Glasgow Green to see local events, the people, and just to take in the scenery.
The University of Glasgow is also a great place to visit. Established in 1451 it's a great chance to see a mix of historic buildings built throughout British history.
The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum underwent major refurbishment in 2006 and is a great example of classic architecture in the city, though the building was actually rebuilt in the 1920s. It's near Glasgow University and Kelvingrove Park so it's an easy stop.
Glasgow City Chambers is a beautiful example of Victorian Arcitecure. It's a one of many beautiful buildings in the city and it's also the city's seat of government. It's not to be missed.
The Music Scene in Glasgow is not to be missed. Named by UNESCO as the UK's first UNESCO City of Music there is a lot to hear and see. Make sure to check out a show or two while visiting.
